As December approaches one of our main goals in life is to assess the past year. In the case of companies this also happens but with a twist. For the average person, the year is divided into four seasons, for companies like AICO Audiovisuales it is structured into the creation and execution of dozens of premium events.

When you attend an event, your aim is to enjoy everything the organisers have prepared for you. A few of you, very few, will stop and think about how many hours of work, preparation and effort there are behind each of those screens, or cabling, to provide the audience with a perfect combination of lighting and music.

Practically no one will notice the equipment that comes in and leaves from the upper terraces, almost hidden in the darkness. These professionals who are hardly ever seen, are the ones that form the team at Aico Audiovisuales, a company with a 20-year history, and are behind the scenes of some of Mallorca’s most noteworthy events. A company that, just one month before the end of 2017, can be proud of the fact it has played a key role in such major events as the MAPFRE King’s Cup regatta, the Nikki Beach Red Party and the Formentor Sunset Classics.

Two sporting highlights
Although Mallorca plays host to several sporting events, there are two that stand out from the rest: The Sports Gala and the MAPFRE King’s Cup Regatta (Copa del Rey). Two sporting events that are based at Palma’s Royal Yacht Club with the involvement of AICO Audiovisuales, who always delivers to the full.

Responsible for the decoration, lighting and sound (as with the Sports Gala) and also unique moments that happen each year during the traditional Owners Dinner (held every year in the middle of the King’s Cup), the technical and human team at AICO Audiovisuales manages to surpass itself year after year, offering the organisation, sports people and guests alike, events that are simply spectacular.

Unforgettable social events
The mid-year arrived with the celebration of Mallorca Design Day, an international catwalk held for the first time in our country to give a voice to curvy fashion and one that naturally counted on AICO Audiovisuales to take technical control.

The summer event season continued with the Flower Power Party in Puerto Portals, the Nikki Beach Red Party and the spectacular Cats Party in Puerto Portals, a thrilling experience and one at which AICO Audiovisuales once again excelled itself and flew the flag of excellence.

A spectacular close to the season
Along these same lines of excellence, AICO Audiovisuales kick-started the autumn season with renewed energy to bring life, sound and image to the Converses Literaries in Formentor (conferences dedicated to literature) and the Formentor Sunset Classic Festival. Two events that counted on the knowhow of Mallorca’s leading audiovisual company once again. “Being sponsors of landmark events such as eWoman and the Evolution International Film Fest and to experience moments like the Cinema Car in Port Adriano , which our team was commissioned to assemble, makes us feel proud of everything we do here at AICO”.
